How many times I thought…
“If I were just a little bit taller, If I could loose just a little bit more weight, if my eyebrows were a bit thicker, If my cheek were a bit smaller and my boobs a bit bigger…”
If, if, if…
I was hoping to be something else than what I am, wasting my energy trying to have the “perfect body” imposed by our society.
Through yoga practice and the study of various subjects I came to the realization that I am perfect as I am, and I am thankful everyday of my life for my perfect body.
I am saying this here because I know that many many women still have the same thoughts I had and I want to say to you, LOVE YOURSELF! LOVE YOUR BODY! LOVE WHO YOU ARE! And if you don’t know how, learn how to. If you need my help, I am here for you.
I will leave you with a quote from a lovely song from Regina Spektor:
“I’ve got a perfect body, but sometimes I forget. I’ve got a perfect body, cause my eyelashes catch my sweat.”
